It is easy to wonder and doubt if an app is appropriate or not to use as a speech therapy tool, especially now that there are over 1 million apps available. With a commonly heard motto “there’s an app for that”, you almost need to have a filtering system to help decide which apps to get and which apps to skip loading on your device.
So here are some tips that can help you decide: 1.) determine your need, 2.) review the accessibility, features and layout of it, 3.) research it on the internet and our friend, social media 4.) cost to benefit ratio 5.) size of app storage space it will take up 6.) look at the rating of the app (3 or greater is usually a good indicator) 7.) read reviews
Hope this helps!
